So a jolly jaunt was had by Anna, Sarah and Gina on a sail westwards over 10 days on the combined Easter/May Bank Holiday
The Route was Southampton, Yarmouth, Christchurch, Poole Town Quay, Weymouth (two nights), Lulworth Cove, Poole Anchored of Brownsea Island in Blood Alley, Wareham town Quay, Lymington and home.
Notable highlights/lowlights were
1. Certain members of crew imbibing so much alcholol on the first night that they succumbed to "sea sickness" even before we undid the lines in out first berth
2. Chafing a halyard through and dropping the cruising chute in the oggin - but impressive recovery by the crew
3. Getting hit which stationary and tied up in Yarmouth ! Another insurance claim is on the way !
4. Running aground whilst leaving the crew in charge of steering in a very shallow Christchurch harbour (but it was very soft mud so no harm done)
5.Impressive ship decoration on the Royal Wedding day by Royalist crew !

6. Seeing a large pod of Dolphins just outside Poole harbour - the first time I have ever seen Dolphins anywhere near the Solent in 10 years of sailing there !
